WELCOMING ADDRESS
The 2nd NEU-UBC International Hydrometallurgy Forum (NEU-UBC 2017) will be held on August 24-27, 2017 in Vancouver, Canada. The aim of NEU-UBC 2017 is to provide a platform for presentations and discussion of scientific research, technological development as well as teaching on the subjects of mineral processing, hydrometallurgy, material science, environmental protection and related topics. The 1st NEU-UBC was successfully held in Shenyang, December 4 to 6, 2016. More than 60 participates from NEU, UBC, Beijing General Research Institute of Mining &Metallurgy, Central South University, and Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Science, attended the forum. The forum provided a platform for the communication of the metallurgists from China and Canada. The Forum will provide a good opportunity for meeting the old friends, making new contacts and exchanging useful information as well.
This year, the Forum will be held in the UBC campus in Vancouver, Canada. The involvement of researchers, engineers, academicians, and students who have interests on the subject of hydrometallurgy and related fields is cordially welcome.
The Conference will be organized in sections, including plenary lectures, oral and poster presentations.
No registration fee is required.

Presentation - limited to 15 min and 5 to 10 min for discussions required for all of the participants.

为进一步促进湿法冶金领域教学科研国际交流与合作，PP电子游戏网站和加拿大UBC大学将于2017年8月24日至27日在加拿大温哥华联合举办第二届NEU-UBC湿法冶金国际研讨会。2016年12月，第一届NEU-UBC湿法冶金国际研讨会在沈阳成功举行， 会议得到了PP电子游戏网站以及UBC大学和国内其它科研院校的大力支持，共有PP电子游戏网站、UBC、北京矿冶研究总院、中南大学、中科院过程所等单位的60余位代表参加了本次论坛，论坛为中国和加拿大的冶金学者提供了一个很好的交流平台。本次国际研讨会地点在美丽的UBC校园（UBC Frank Forward Building）内举行，欢迎邀请中国和加拿大两国在湿法冶金领域相关高校、研究院所的学者、研究人员、工程技术人员参会。本次会议无注册费。
